Dishub: Transjakarta Bus Service Implements SPM

The Jakarta administration together with the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) have agreed to minimize the subsidy budget for Transjakarta bus tickets by around Rp 336 billion.

There is already an SPM in Transjakarta

However, Jakarta Transportation Agency (Disjub) Head, Syafrin Liputo, emphasized that Transjakarta bus operations would remain optimal, referring to the Minimum Service Standards (SPM).

He explained adjustments in the revised City Budget (APBD) would not have an impact on services to the community.

Transjakarta Opens New Mikrotrans Service Route

"There is already an SPM in Transjakarta, it remains in accordance with the 2023 Budget Work Plan (RKA). Nothing has changed," he expressed, Wednesday (9/20).

Regarding budget adjustments, PT Transjakarta was asked to carry out efficiency and maximize profits obtained.

"Initially, the margin was around 10 percent, that was reduced," he explained.

The Jakarta Government was very committed to providing cheap, safe, comfortable, and enjoyable public services.

"I think this adjustment has gone through comprehensive consideration. Principally, all modes of transportation managed by JakartabBUMD will provide maximum service to the community," he stated.
